IoT Hub User Roles

As an organization owner on the FOSSA IoT Hub, you can create additional users to log in to the organization. You can do so from the Organization settings section.

When you create a new user, the name, email, and role must be specified. Please refer to the roles section below for more information about this. Each new user will receive a personal email with the information needed to log in to the IoT Hub.

Roles

There are 3 main roles in the FOSSA IoT Hub:

  • Viewer. Viewers can only see registered devices.
  • Manager. Managers can register new devices, create groups and integrations.
  • Owner. Owners can do all of the above, create new users, change user roles and manage organization settings, including billing.
